Important News {Megz}

"You're not stupid...." The waiter came back with their ordered food and set it amongst them. Having lost his thought, he just gestured to the food as if saying "After you." Things just were off today.

I smiled a thank you to the waiter and then instantly looked back to Zidane. I smiled sweetly at him and picked up a spoon. I cut off a small edge of the slice of cake and chewed it thoughtfully. I sighed blissfully. All the ingredients were perfectly balanced which was a bit hard to do since there were many elements to Tiramisu. I cut off another piece and offered it to Zidane. " It's simple delightful." I said, grinning.

Although reluctant to try it at the hint of it's name, once zidane had seen it he'd been immensely curious. "Thank you my dear." He spoke softly as he retrieved the piece from her. He sat it in front of him and poked at it a few times, trying to figure out how it was made.

I couldn't help but laugh at Zidanes treatment of the cake. " It's just cake, love. It isn't going to bite." I said, grinning mischeviously. It was at times like these that he looked positively cute. It was a rare moment nd I commited it to memory. His personality could change in an instant and I had wondered at times why he wasn't an actor or something like that.

"I haven't figured that out yet..." He mumbled, still prodding it with the fork as if he expected it to react. And it did. But not the way he'd expected. It just wobbled a little and fell over, eliciting a sigh from zidane. He then preceded to scoop a small piece out of the delight in front of him.

I laughed and shook my head. Where on earth did he get these weird ideas? I couldn't reall judge though. I was pretty crazy myself. " Well? Did it bite you?" I asked teasingly, raising an eyebrow after he was done chewing.

"It tried." He said, taking his first bite. What if it indeed had? That would have been a royal mess indeed. "But I got to it first."

I laughed and took rolled my eyes. " Kind of a shame. I wouldn't have minded kissing it better." I murmered, smirking slightly. I grabbed another spoon and scooped up another piece. I popped it into my mouth and smile warm heartedly at Zidane.

"Eh...Let's save that for another time. I'm sure you can find plenty of other places to kiss than my wounds." He laughed lightly, and took another bite. It was good...but kinda..off. Like it was missing something. Salt? No....Salt was something you had to use in other cakes sure, but this didn't even have a hint that it needed it at all. It was plenty salty to him.

I blushed slightly and smirked mischeviously. " I'm sure you know most of the places I am not afraid to kiss you." I whispered so only he could here. I winked at him sat back down against my seat. I took another bite of the tiramisu and smiled. Liking tiramisu was an aquired taste, like wine. You had to get used to the clash first.

Zidane froze, his face completely red. He'd set her up for that one and had even thought a comeback for it. Unfortunately he completely lost his voice. No sound other than slight grunts of noise would escape him. Damn, he'd never been more embarrassed in his life.

I stared at him for a little while having seen him blush so very very brightly. I raised an eyebrow and leaned forward slightly. " You ok, love?" I asked, gently caressing the side of his face with my fingertips. My paternal instincts had kicked into over drive recently. It was probably the pregnancy taking into effect.

"Ah...Uh..." He shook his head erasing all thoughts. "Anyways...What were we talking about? Oh yes. You moving in with me?"

I bit my lip and looked down realizing why he was blushing. And I questioned why people called me a slut. Psh. I looked back up at him grateful for the change in conversation. " Yes. I guess I am moving in with you. Chiron probably won't mind since we're engaged and all." I said, smiling shimsically.

He paused. He had totally forgotten Chiron. Then he dismissed the immediate thought, "Alright. Want me to come over later and help you with your stuff? Or do you want me to wait and let you do it, I could always come by afterwards to help you carry it."

I shrugged slightly and smiled. " I don't really have a lot of stuff. A couple of Cd's and clothes. You can come by latter to help pick carry it." I said, smiling with a dreamy expression on my face. I had always imagined mooving in with someone. Not exactly at this age or these circumstances but still. I'd spent the last coupld of years being very flamboyant and mooving from place to place. Living with him was something permanent.

"Alright..." he said finishing off his meal, "Just call me when you need me ok?" He stood and offered her his hand to walk her home, after paying of course.

I nodded and took his hand. " I'll probably be done by mid-day. I'll call you otherwise." I said, the dreamy smile still on my face. I'd get Carla to help me. I don't think Zidane would exactly be that comfotable helping me sort and fold my panties, bras and the rest of my clothes.

"Alright. I'll clean out some of my junk, So that there's plenty of room for anything you need. Oh, and, We should go shopping together some time?" He was pretty sure that camp provided most of everything that you needed. She could certainly do with more.

I bit my lip and looked down trying to stop myself from laughing. Ah shopping. Sure we would need to to buy some things fo the baby and maybe some furniture but we had better stay away from any clothes stores. I didn't have 7 pairs of stilettos by accident. " Alright. We can go after I finish mooving in." I said finally regaining posture.

"Alright. And if you need anything, tell me..." His eyes began to wet as he thought back on his sister. "Please?"

I looked up at him and frowned slightly seing him get all teary eyed. I stopped walking and pulled him to a stop as well.I didn't like seeing him all sad. I wrapped my arms around him in a comforting hug and whispered into his ear " Don't worry. You are the first person I would call for help.".

He forced his mind from his sister, and blinked away the wetness. "Y-yeah." He whispered as they began their walk to her room. "Clothes, help, tutoring. Anything."

I couldn't help but laugh when he mentioned tutoring. I hadn't been to school in a while and it's not like I needed to. I was ready to take College courses if need be but that probably wouldn't be for a while. " Don't worry ,love. Clothes I've got and tutoring is of little use to me. I'll just be calling on you for help and I'm sure that won't be that often." I said, trying to sound reasuring.

Thats when he broke down. For the first time. Hearing the same words his sister had last told him was just unbearable. He only sobbed at first but immediately hid his face in her shoulder and bawled. He couldn't bear the memory anymore. He'd lost too much. And he couldn't stop himself now.
