Doing what I do best (Doc Who)

Adam O'Gorman:

I was in the infirmary at camp, doing what I did best...or tied for best. Having a dad as the god of all skills was great, it made me average at everything, but not good at anything. Right now I was busy taping up a nasty sprained ankle on a kid. "That's gonna heal up in a few weeks very nicely. Just keep your weight off of it."

Daniel

I nodded at the boy. i didn't say it was my first time here. Usually i can treat my own woulds easy. I fiddled with my ring on my hand. Looking around the room i noticed blood stains from the prevous occupant. my face paled. "I never was the best in a hospital." i whispered slowly getting up.

"Really? You seem like you would fit in just well at the hospital, no offense." Then I realized I was butting in. "I'm sorry, couldn't help but to overhear you. Who are you?"

Daniel

"I am Daniel Smith. Son of Freya. you are?" i said quietly.

"I'm Adam O'Gorman son of Lugh. Uh, who is Freya again?" I said.

Daniel

"Freya is the norse goddess of sex and magic. My father knew her as the goddess of magic." I said. I chose not to say that my whole family has been a demigod of magic.

"Oh." I said in response. I always felt stupid asking questions like that, but my mythology wasn't exactly "up-to-date". "My dad, Lugh, is god of everything in a way. He was good at everything which means I'm above average in almost everything....not to brag or anything."

I nodded and slowly limped towards the door. I winced every other step. I made it to the door and slipped out in to the night. 'I have one shot at being in the great nine quest.' I thought to my self. 'better make it count"
