Hanging in the Forest

I walked out of my cabin and headed straight for the forest. I loved it there. It was quiet, and peaceful. I was happy today because my Black Veil Brides shirt had just came in and I got to wear it. I smiled as I put in my head phones and turn on my iPod blaring, "Perfect Weapon" by the one and only Black Veil Brides. I stopped walking when I came upon a tree with very large roost. I sat down in between them and closed my eyes as I drummed the song on my knees. I was off in my own little world.

I walked through the forest with my camera, looking for something or someone to photograph. It was quiet and not to crowded here. After a few minutes I saw a girl sitting between two large roots, listening to music. Good subject. I adjusted my camera settings and snapped a couple pictures, hoping she wouldn't notice. She was in the perfect pose. This would make an awesome picture.

Out of the blue I hear clicks. "huh?" I opened my eyes and saw a girl taking pictures. "Hey, what are you doing?" I asked pulling out the head phones. "Are you taking pictures of me?" I looked at her with a 'Really?' face.

I snapped one last picture before looking up, turning red. "Sorry, you were a really good subject and I just got this new camera," I explained a bit embarrassed. Most people didn't even notice me.
"Oh, I'm Caryss Finkle," I said remembering to introduce myself. I should have just stopped time for a moment and taken a few pictures and left. The only problem with doing that is the other children of Chrynos and Kronos could still move like me and any of them could have started time again

I laughed lightly. "Subject? Can I at least be called a person." I smiled at her. "I'm Danni O' Riley." I said my last name with my accent. It was a habit I was trying to break. "Well next time you take pictures of me warn me." I said pushing my hair behind my ear.

"Sorry," I said blushing. "I promise if I ever have to take pictures of you again I will give you a warning. As long as you promise not to move when I tell you, I'm a natural photographer so if you looked up and smiled it would ruin the picture." I told her honestly. My people skills weren't that great

"Thank you, when I was eleven I took a photography class because I didn't have enough to fill up my schedule. I just kind of fell in love with it and have been doing it since then." I told her shrugging.

I did better when I did listen to it, but they didn't allow music at my old school. That's why I was "Below Average".
